In the continued good news regarding Villanova's 2012 recruiting class, Kelsey Margey just missed the 800-1500 double at the New York State Championship meet. Margey won the 800 meter state title handily by almost 3 seconds, running 2:09.86 -- one second off her 2:08.90 PR set two weeks ago. In the 1500 meters, Margey came second to phenom Mary Cain, in 4:25.71. Her 1500 PR is 4:23.82. She also anchored Friends Academy's 4x800 meter relay, which finished fourth in the state.
