Today at the Alex Wilson Invitational at Notre Dame, Rob Denault became the 31st Villanova runner to break the 4:00 mile barrier. Having missed narrowly early this season (4:00.04 at Penn State), Denault today ran 3:59.39 to finish 3rd in his mile heat (4th overall) at the Alex Wilson Invitational at Notre Dame. Denault, who hails from Aurora, Ontario, is the 45th Canadian to break the 4:00 barrier, and is the fourth Villanovan from Canada to do so, joining Ken Lucks (1984), Stephen Howard (1997), and Ryan Hayden (2002).
