Emily Lipari Surges to NCAA #14 with Big PR at Columbia 3000
Poised to Make Field at NCAA Indoor Nationals

Emily Lipari may have won herself a spot at the NCAA Indoor Nationals with a monster 11-second PR victory this evening at the Columbia Last Chance meet at her home away from home: the Armory in New York City.  Lipari won the race in 9:08.91.  Pending other results throughout the country today, that time puts Lipari at #14 in the country and part of the 16-person field at NCAA Indoor Nationals in Fayetteville. Her previous PR was 9:20.07, run at the Great Dane Classic at the same venue on January 18th.
