Harry Jerome International 1500
Villanova's Jordy Williamsz ran the second-fastest 1500 of his career today in Vancouver at the Harry Jerome International track meet. His time of 3:39.61 trails only his PR of 3:36.74 set in 2012 at the Swarthmore Last Chance meet. His teammate Sam McEntee came 12th today, in 3:43.22, well off his own 3:36.81PR from 2012. McEntee said after the race (see below) that he was feeling a bit under the weather, accounting for his 1:53 / 3:43 weekend -- something he viewed as a tad disappointing. Jordy Williamsz fared better over the weekend, going 1:48 and 3:39, but as his post-race interview reveals, he faces a challenging meeting in the near future.
