Inside a 10-Mile Cut-Down with Bobby Curtis
& the Hansons-Brooks Distance Project
This workout in 22 degree weather at the Michigan training base for the Hansons-Brooks Distance Project team includes former Villanova NCAA champion Bobby Curtis and his teammates Robert Scribner, Luke Humphrey, and Dustin Emerick. The workout involves a 10-mile run in 2-mile pieces, with the pace for each 2-mile segment dropping from 6:00 to 5:45 to 5:30 to 5:15 to 5:00 flat. As shown in the video, Bobby Curtis final 2-mile segment is run at 4:45 pace, bringing his 10-miler to a close in 54:29. Great scenery and video footage of the workout, along with commentary from coach Don Jackson.
